On 4 October 2025, the ISACA Harare Chapter proudly joins the global ISACA community in celebrating Community Day, a day dedicated to giving back and making a positive impact in society. Each year, ISACA chapters across the world come together under the banner of One ISACA, One Community, to volunteer their time, skills, and resources to causes that uplift communities.
For the Harare Chapter, this year’s Community Day is about more than volunteerism—it is about demonstrating the power of digital trust and social responsibility in action. Members, students, and partners will gather for activities that combine technology awareness, education, and community empowerment. Planned initiatives include:
- Digital Literacy Sessions: Helping students and young people understand safe internet practices, online privacy, and the importance of cybersecurity.
- Career Guidance & Mentorship: Sharing pathways into IT audit, risk, and cybersecurity professions to inspire the next generation.
- Community Engagement Projects: Partnering with local organizations to support causes that align with ISACA’s values of trust, integrity, and innovation.
Community Day is also an opportunity for members to build camaraderie outside professional settings working side by side for the common good while showcasing the spirit of service that defines ISACA.
The Chapter invites all members, partners, and friends to participate. Every small effort counts, whether it’s mentoring a student, teaching someone to protect themselves online, or lending a hand in community projects.
Together, we can show that ISACA is not only about certifications and frameworks, but also about people, purpose, and impact.
Let’s make 4 October 2025 a day to remember – for our communities, our profession, and our shared future.
